👍I have lived in Yancey and Mitchell counties for 30 years. Never had a better steak anywhere in area. Perfect, great prices. Compare with Fleming's or Ruth Chris Steakhouse. You all have to give them a try and support this business. Chris & Kaitlyn the owners were very personable, and made sure we were treated right, and happy. Above and beyond, BEST place to eat and relax in Burnsville. Thank you Chris.

LOVED my meal at Cast Iron Kitchen! The trout was melt-in-my mouth delicious, and the sides were excellent too - - sweet potato salad and vinegar coleslaw. I rounded out my meal with the simply decadent chocolate torte (could only eat half!) and a nice glass of Malbec. Got to meet the friendly chef/owner, Chris, and the service was great. I'll be back for sure!

These guys are amazing and hard working. The moved a giant table in few mins to accommodate us. Food felt like home made. No restaurant greasy feel. Even my kids loved it. Would definitely recommend.

We had great service and the food was amazing. I got the trout which was cooked to perfection topped with yummy yogurt sauce. My husband got the pork chop and cleaned the bone. We wanted to cobbler for dessert but they had run out. The chocolate torte did not disappoint and my 3 year old loved the ice cream.

Our waitress was very friendly. I had the steak, cornbread, field peas and Mac & cheese. The steak was superb. The fries are the best in town. Cornbread was perfect. The Mac and cheese wasn't my favorite but my girlfriend loved it so that's just a matter of personal taste really. Kind of a long wait initially, but it was the second night it was open, so I'm sure they are still working some things out. Overall, great experience (our waitress was so genuinely friendly and smiling all the time, amazing service). I totally recommend this place.
